Robin Wright
Founder and Coordinator of the AIIS Program from 2009-2018. Research and fieldwork have focused on Indigenous religious traditions in the Americas, most especially South America and Amazonia. Principal interests include beliefs and practices related to spiritual specialists, sickness and healing; intersections of traditional medicines with Western biomedicine; indigenous Christianities; anthropology and advocacy; Indigenous Anthropology. Currently engaged in Indigenous Archiving and administering my collection of over four decades of research, through the AILLA (Archive of the Indigenous Languages of Latin America) program at UTexas-Austin.
